The shape and texture of words —
their sensuality — have fascinated Shannon Hollis since she learned
to read. She got her first positive review at the age of eight on a
school composition, and completed her first novel at seventeen. Shannon
has an Honors B.A. in Creative Writing from the University of California,
and an M.A. in writing popular fiction from Seton Hill University in
Pennsylvania. Her master’s thesis, Her Private Eye, was
a 2003 release from Harlequin Temptation, and went on to become a double
finalist in the National Readers Choice Awards.
