He dumped her on his bed and she bounced up, flailing at him with tiny hands and vicious knee jerks. Thrilled with her, his cock already pulsing, he pressed her against the nearest wall, captured her fists into his own, planted his thigh between hers.
“You haven’t paid for passage,” he murmured inches from her mouth, her breath sweet and hot against his lips. “As I’m a fair man I will allow you to work for it.”
“I’m not a whore, you idiot!” She struggled, delightfully wiggling herself against his erection. He thought he heard her mutter something about stupid heroines and bastard heroes and damned karate classes.
“You aren’t a lady.” The pulse in her neck fascinated him. “And you’re on my ship.”
“I’m not on any ship! I’m just going crazy and you are just a --”
His hips pressed into her in a suggestive grind. Through her thin leggings Jarred felt her heat, the flush on her cheeks turning a tender shade of peach. The nipples stabbing into his chest couldn’t lie. Whore or not, she was aroused. “The crew then? They will pass you ’round like a flask of rum. I assure you I’m better skilled.”
Her breath hitched, those small hands fisted on his shoulders. Pushing away or gripping, he couldn’t quite tell. “Your price, little stowaway?”
Her lips parted, either to name a figure or to send him straight to hell. Before either was said, Jarred captured her breath into his mouth, claimed her lips into a kiss designed to master, weaken, buckle her knees, to make her cling to him.
Her eyes were closed when he looked at her. “Your answer, little one?”
A long slow lick over the sweet spot at her neck to make her tremble. In fact she shuddered now, as if need shook her.
“You hesitate.”This time he let his teeth scrape the tender skin under her jaw. Her shiver fueled him. “My crew won’t ask your price.”
The change in her was instantaneous. Eyes blazing, she pushed into his shoulders with enough force to have Jarred stagger back, a curious type of amused anger rushing into his chest when he saw her pull a small knife from her pants.

Description:
Victoria Randall – an adventure seeking librarian with a love for romance novels–is thrown though time when lightning strikes. She wakes up in the eighteenth century on a frigate with pirates and a hunky captain. She's either crazy or in a romance novel, nearly lashed, thoroughly loved. And yet this romance novel is nothing like the ones she’s read before.
To My Readers: I’ve always had a soft spot for romances with with hunky sea captains, pirate gold and adventures to last a lifetime. I hope you enjoy Vic and Jarred’s story!
